Denton Texas has Latin Music with veteran members, young and vibrant talent with seasoned producers. This group is making its way back into the Metro Circuit. The band has been around for a decade but trying economy has closed many a venue and forced club scene to take notice in the quality of the music. Los Wedos is composed of traditional Afro Cuban instrumentation. Latin Jazz standards such as Manteca, Ran Kan Kan, and Linda Chicana are only some of the songs you will hear on the new album. With influences like Tito Puente, Celia Cruz and Poncho Sanchez an evening of Salsa dancing with Los Wedos is a memorable experience.
